Has anyone tried their stuff? I see they have an EMD extended cab for the PC-PRSL GP38’s/RDG SD45’s. Do they actually fit the Atlas and Kato units well? May want to use for a future project.

Should be some threads around here where they were discussed previously. Search on big dawg originals, BDO, CMR Products and others.

Even if they weren't poorly done clones, they still require a crapload of work, and the guy behind them is really bad at customer support, and has a history of telling people to "F off"..

A buddy of mine made the mistake of buying their SD45X shell, shot at and missed, $#^& at and hit. Really poor.

I sold both the PC GP38 and RDG SD45 cabs as kits on Shapeways previously and I'm currently working on improved one-piece versions. Hopefully in a few weeks I should have something to show. Here's a Kennecott Copper GP39-2 cab and nose to give you an idea of what these will look like:

Looks good and hopefully it works out for you.

Any idea what cost will be? I'd be tempted to do a Reading SD45 if it isn't too crazy.

Yes; Big Dawg to PNW which worked in conjunction with CMR which recently "went out of stock" of the PNW products... PPW/A-Line, the guys who make the trailer wheel kits, still lists them though for some reason; has anyone tried to reach out to them to get the shells pulled? Last I checked they were selling the PNW Rapido clone shell.

CMR Products doesn't make decals. They sell them for NetzlofDesign.
Bit of a mixed bag. They have a tendency to run a bit thick. He does make a ton of smaller Pennsylvania stuff. I've got some of his decals that I haven't used. They're definitely thick. Thick enough that I'm considering just eating the money spent on them and having my own print done by someone else who does thinner work.

Whoa, as mentioned above CMR no longer lists BDO et al. products for sale and has not done so for some time. And what is "generally supporting the piracy" mean? Pretty broad brush. The Netzlof decals are not bad. And they do offer a fairly large menu of eastern roads. Below is a photo of a old McKean Greenville 100-ton 15-panel P&S hopper that I did recently with CMR/Netzlof decals (before a final gloss and then satin coat). They went on easily and, at least to me, look pretty good.
