I want to make sure I have this correct. I would appreciate your input or correction if needed. I did this a long time ago, but would really like to verify I am doing it right again.
I am using a loksound 5 direct with Power Pak. I want to keep the speaker impedance to 8 ohms. I am using four Knowles Grand Speakers.
So this is how I believe the four speakers are to be connected.
Speaker A Terminal 1 and 2 Speaker B Terminal 1 and 2 Speaker C Terminal 1 and 2 Speaker D Terminal 1 and 2
Decoder to Speaker A Terminal 1 Speaker A Terminal 2 to Speaker B Terminal 2 Speaker B Terminal 1 to Speaker C Terminal 1 Speaker C Terminal 2 to Speaker D Terminal 2 Speaker D Terminal 1 to Decoder
Would this be correct to keep the 8 ohm impedance?

It appears that the Knowles Grand Speakers are 8 ohms. If this is so, you make two sets of two speakers in series. Then you wire these two sets in parallel. It's the one on the right, in the picture below: The other example on the left is two parallel wired sets in series. Ends up the same way. Just harder for me to picture in my head. Ed

Thank you Ed. Great diagrams. I really appreciate you taking the time to do this. I understand it and can wire it up now. This will allow me to put four speakers in my RS-1's.
I just found my diagram of the first four speaker setup I did and it is like the one you drew on the left.
