If you looked at the most recent Sunday Photo Fun (as of the 10th), you would notice that I posted a picture of an SD50 I bought at a train show for roughly $60-70. I have repaired it a bit, replacing the old horn hook couplers it came with from the previous owner and buying a new handrail set from Athearn's parts department. One piece has confused me ever since I gave it thought. When I bought the engine, it had no plow. It was broken off, nowhere to be found. Like the handrails, it was likely long gone before it came to the show I bought it from. So let's get to the main question of this thread: Does anyone make the same or similar plow to either the original plow this thing came with, or to the prototype? If not, would anyone be up to the task of supplying a spare plow?
Up next, I will supply several photos, one from Tony Sissons' clinic of how he superdetailed a Conrail SD50, one from rrpicturearchives, and one of an Athearn RTR SD50 stock out of the box.

Sounds right. It was a common plow and D&RGW used them too.
