This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below. I guess it's not for me to see the train...

Once again, but different(ly). Here's a different version of the train. If it shows up. It's not quite as spiffy looking in this shot, but the proportions are the same. Still cute. It's an Ebay image of the photo, so I don't know how long it will last. And it's small--too bad. Ed

I was thinking the Bachmann modern 4-4-0 would do well. It kinda does, except the drivers look too small, and the rear driver isn't set as far back. Most 4-4-0's have their rear driver under the cab, based on having the firebox drop down between the driving axles. I don't see how that would work on the Bachmann.
It's also kinda tough fo find a car with a 15' RPO section.
If anyone wants to see the picture that I couldn't connect to, it's on the passenger car list now, with MKT prominent in the title.

I ran out of sources for pictures of this train. Sure turned up LOTS of photos of British 4-4-0's, though. But. I found a 4-4-0 with the firebox NOT dropped down into the frame, between the drivers: You may or may not see the photo above. If you CAN, you can see the bottom of the firebox just above the frame. Most early 4-4-0's and 4-6-0's had the firebox extend down into the frame. And the driving axles did NOT go through the firebox. This accounts for why so many 4-6-0's have a big gap between their 2nd and 3rd drivers. I don't know why the long-time design practice was dropped. There's been much made of how a trailing truck allows the firebox to be deeper than if it's above the drivers (compare 2-6-6-6 with 4-8-8-4, or GN 2-8-8-0). So it is odd that such a design would be left behind. Ed
