We had a proto picture last Thursday so here is one for this week. Larry This is the 1988 last year west into Roseville after a snow storm east on Donner. This is the 1988 at Colfax coming out of the snow storm the same day as the picture above.

That 1989 under the bridge photo is very nice. Here's one bridge shot of mine that I found. It was taken a few years ago at LATC at the west end on the Alhambra Sub. Nothing spectacular.
Here's 1988 at West Colton arrival yard:

Here we have an NS GP59 and GP38-2 combo switching some covered hoppers yesterday in Hazleton PA. That GP59 really was neat to see, especially up close.

How about some Alcos? Photo from a trip to NW Arkansas in 2009 but was out there three week ago and watched Alcos still at work. Excellent stuff to watch and hear.

Those ALCO's are nice to see and hear. I got to visit and see them several years ago. Larry

That 8516 looks to be almost new in the photo. Nice to see one clean as they are not so clean any longer. Larry

A bridge shot at Shed 10 on the Roseville sub. The train is westbound dowhill from Donner at this point. Larry

Thanks for sharing those great pictures everybody. There are no trains here on the island, so this is the only way I get to see them. This is a teaser to a set of pictures that I'll be sharing soon. It's a bridge in Chariton Iowa, and was taken in 1999, so I'm not sure that the bridge is even there now.

All bridges are interesting and many are being taken out as you suggested about the one in the photo. Check out a few trains on the slide show when you have time. larry s806.photobucket.com/albums/yy345/Trainsforyou/RocklinRails/?albumview=slideshow

Larry, if the schools would have had slide shows like that when I was in school, I might have paid attention instead of flirting with the girl sitting next to me.
