Interesting rail line dug up by The Drive.

The trucks on the locomotive are pretty interesting. I have seen photos of this locomotive before, but I like the low-angle shot here. The article also has a good photo of the cab 'window' from when it was in service, which is now fogged up. It looks more like a camera lens than a window; I wonder what the cab interior looks like.

It looks like the locomotive has been repainted, as is now fenced off with radioactive warning signs on the fence:

It would be a fun scratchbuilding project, but I don't think I will be able to get up close to take any measurements.
