I am considering just putting some canopy glue on it and calling it a day, and not even using the screw. Also, a .005 shim under the coupler shank on the end would make a big difference as well with the sag. I've just done one end with carving and what not and am looking at other solutions that come in. I did do the .005 shim and it did pick up some of the sag. I noticed the screw issue and just kept carving. On the remaining end, I'll look at canopy glue. It's an easy redo if it can't handle the end of a train. And will save some tedious carving.

Shouldn’t have to do that on a $90 car...but I’m sure the next run will be fixed.

Let’s see a Tangent NYC/PC/CR extended transfer caboose. I bought an NJ International brass one today for $50. I thought it was a good deal given they sell on eBay for like $75 and this one had upgraded trucks. Not painted, though. He had an Overland NYC bay window too I thought about for $75 but I figured I'd spent enough.

Would love an N-7 in PC green or Conrail blue...low coupler or not.

Just now (Friday, Feb. 21, 3:47 p.m. EST) noticed that M.B. Klein has posted some Tangent items as in stock, including yellow Chessie/B&O cabooses in 4 road numbers and 1 number each in Chessie white and green, plus some covered hoppers. Maybe more are yet to be posted, or already sold out at MBK.

I didn't notice before but the 4750 hoppers have gone up in price. I have been surprised, pleasantly, that Tangent's prices have seemed to stay steady for so long - $44.95 in cases of the covered hoppers.

From Tangent's caboose page on their website:
SPECIAL NOTE: While we have one RTR SKU (and one kit) still in stock, our first run of cabooses sold out faster than intended. We WILL release a new run of cabooses (with a mix of the sold out and some new schemes!) in 2020! We do not pre-announce our release dates, so please be patient and watch our website and newsletter for our next “spot release."
