I've always received my orders from Arrowhead but 2 months ago ordered 2 of the Conrail H39s emailed them was told the items were soon to be in stock fast forward a few weeks later they're in stock still no shipping notice I emailed again I'm told they're are out of the office till the 26th of July and will answer my email when they get back I wait a week no response have sent two emails since no response! They billed my card when I placed the order no refund. This is the first time I've dealt with something like this with anyone in the model railroad buisness kind of angry frankly to be ignored I always respected this company but will not order again anytime soon. This is totally unacceptable. I've ordered from them many times but now this. Sorry to rant but I needed to make people aware I don't know if any of you ordered the Conrail cars and had this issue recently.

Interesting. Not to speculate or add any noise, but they have been pretty quiet for awhile besides the latest run of hoppers as you've mentioned. Notably missing at St. Louis this year. Hope all is well and you get your issue resolved, which I believe you will.

I hope they're OK too I don't usually mention something until I'm really feeling ignored. I ordered several of the PC release and got those. The Conrails are almost sold out.

Their website says “ordering temporary paused” on the CR H39 models. Interestingly, nothing is mentioned or indicates why that may be.

I've been meaning to post a warning to members here. This was the 06/07/2023 email reply I received to my initial inquiry relative to two CR hoppers that i ordered (and was charged for):
"We received release paperwork from our forwarder for the Conrail Committee Design Hoppers. On Wednesday, we drove a truck to an SLC warehouse. However, they could not locate the shipment. We are working with the warehouse and our forwarder to resolve this. (These are absolutely huge warehouses--it is very possible that these are just on the wrong end of the aisle, and it just needs to be discovered.) We will give the warehouse 14 days, and based on what we know at that time, we will send an update (or sooner). We hope this has a resolution very quickly. My best, Blaine Hadfield Arrowhead Models"
That was followed by numerous (patient) attempts at follow-up, with no response. I've had to resort to filing a credit card dispute. Buyer beware with Arrowhead....

That's the exact initial email I got too. I have been ready to file a dispute too. Something is up at Arrowhead possibly 🤔

So, question has to be asked.... Does the Arrowhead CR H39 actually even exist? Has anybody received one?

So, question has to be asked.... Does the Arrowhead CR H39 actually even exist? Has anybody received one? A friend sent an update to a group of us on June 15 saying that the Conrail H39s had been delayed shipping from the West Coast to Arrowhead. I didn't hear if they eventually arrived, but I'll check with him. Someone on another list posted on July 16 that they had just received their PC cars from this release. Again, I don't know if only the Conrail cars were delayed, or if it was the whole shipment, but Overland Hobbies, as one example, still shows the Conrail cars as available for pre-order (implying that they haven't received their stock yet). Never received my Conrail hopper either. Figured they were just delayed.

Who knows for all we know they could've arrived defective in some way. My PCs are awesome I got like 5 PCs and 15 Pennsys as delivered I've also been trying to build up my Pennsy H43 yellow ball 100 ton hoppers Bowser has 4 more rd#s coming. I could H39s in Pennsy but it gets pricey so a little especially now I have U25bs from Rapido coming some Moloco boxcars and Scaletrains covered hoppers so the wallet is taking a beating 😁

Delayed perhaps, but credit card shouldn't have been charged without explanation (order placed May 14).

Are they still in business? The data screwup on the PRR H39's had to cost them.

Not sure how the 4600s have done either 🤔! Now that you mention it, wasn’t there supposed to be another batch of CNW 4600s?

Beautiful looking car but the car also had the wrong trucks on it. I stayed with my Stewart/Bowsers ! --- Ken

Wonder if that was a printing error or a research error?
