In this environment, it will be interesting to see if they get enough orders to spend $1,000+ plus buying a passenger train. Also, I am not sure that they are going to produce anything that is not a widely modelled railroad or something that is going to require an extensive investment in tooling. They also will want to pair it with a locomotive they produce. Walthers has a propensity to go back to the Santa Fe well for more water, seemingly every other year, so maybe they will produce another Santa Fe variant as was suggested by westerntrains. I might be interested in an SP Sunset Limited. We'll see.
I have the Rapido Ski Train on order, so that will probably consume most of my budget in the coming year or so.

I'd like to see the Peninsula 400. They already have the Bi-level cars to start with. Alter the window arrangements, throw an E unit at it and your good to go. It'd be an easy win for them. (Aside from cashing in on the Amtrak anniversary.)
