Thanks for the chuckle Dan, and welcome! ;D Man, some of you guys are funny. Maybe we should open a joke board...yeah...maybe not.
DonnellThanks Donnell. I haven't been overly active at Atlas or modelling as of late, but I do appreciate your effort to create a new home for us. Dan H. - "dh34" ...I thought about registering as shermanhill or bowers, but that might conjure up demonic spirits...lol

Hi guys. I'm here. Thanks Andy for letting me know where some of the folks have moved to.
I was known as PennCentral on the Atlas Forum but my main interest is really the D&H so I figured DandH more accurately reflected my interests.
Glad to see so many of you over here.

Thanks for doing this Donnell. I was on the Atlas Forum ehh....mmmm....errrr can it be 6 years? Something like that. I've looked at other Forums and you know, seems like starting over from scratch, and for some reason this one didn't seem like that. Thanks again.

Brian, Glad to see you come on over.
I lurked a lot more than posted on the Atlas forum, but I believe I'll be a good bit more active here.
Looking forward to your contributions.

Hello Ed, Bobby, Greg, traindude, and Brian! Bobby, I always look forward to seeing what tank projects you got going on. In fact, you may be able to weigh in on the question that was brought up on the HO board about pre-80s tank cars.

Guess I CAN post as a guest ! .... Might want to change that to avoid spammers ! .... I tried to register under my user-name that I've used on all the forums (Mark R.) for all the years I've belonged to them. However, it wouldn't allow me to used that particular string - it has to be consecutive letters or numbers - any work-around for that ? Mark. You might be able to insert a no-break space between "Mark" and "R." Try copying: Mark R. into the name field at registration. I've inserted a no-break space between "Mark" and "R." If it works, though, logging in might be a pain. I don't know how to type no-break spaces. For this, I inserted it into a Word document via the Insert Character feature and then copied it into this reply. From an old DOS guy, use an underscore in place of the blank space. I am new to the site. I retired from corporate America and purchased a small company that focuses on pleasure boat reconstruction. The Christ Craft wood power boats are our bread and butter. I took up N Scaling after touring England and seeing the many N Scale layouts at there train shows.
